Hello! I'm Sam

I've been practising yoga for 20 years and teaching for 10. I left a stressful career to fully commit, which has been a reliable support through life's ups and downs. It has given me purpose, kept me healthy after surgeries and into the menopause and given me renewed vitality during stressful times. It has also helped me break free from old self limiting habits and I'm very passionate about sharing what has worked for me.

Rooted in Hatha and Tibetan Buddhist traditions, my classes explore the beauty of opposing energies - sun and moon, inhale and exhale, effort and ease, strength and surrender - to harmonise the seemingly polar parts of our nature, bringing balance, energy and deep transformation while guiding the mind toward stillness.

My approach blends movement, breath practices and meditations from Indo-Tibetan lineages, while integrating yoga therapeutic techniques which are tested and validated through scientific research. Through both the traditional and contemporary we explore ways to support the nervous system, enhance well-being and cultivate inner stillness.

Classes are thoughtfully sequenced, combining dynamic flows to build strength and flexibility, self massage to  stimulate energy channels, and restorative postures to release tension and calm the body. We tune in, move with awareness and let the breath guide us.

Hi! I'm Tom

I work in sustainable & natural building and I  renovated the wild space.

I was a potter for more than 25 years, working with some of the most highly rated fine dining restaurants in the UK. I started my career at Brighton University then moved to the shores of Loch Long, Scotland, where I built my first studio overlooking the Arrochar Alps.

After spending many years alone in my studio, I moved back to Brighton to explore my other passion and now enjoy working in building as part of a team. I still really enjoy teaching pottery and look forward to our retreats and workshops.
